The unit makes a
practice of discussing the patient satisfaction survey in the daily goals group
and asking for FIVES. This unit adopted
the Collaborative Problem Solving treatment philosophy which states that “Kids
do well if they can.” This philosophy
has enabled this unit to reduce seclusions and restraints. It also engages each child in being a change
agent in their own life. Congratulations
to the entire staff that makes this unit so successful.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great accomplishment in ranking at 91% even though they have fewer beds than other units! It does sound like a world class unit.
